Day 01: Arrival in Manado – Tangkoko Nature Reserve

  • Meeting service
  • Transfer to Tangkoko Nature reserve
  • Afternoon birding around the park
  • Night at the homestay near the park

Day 02: Tangkoko Nature reserve

  • Full day of birding in the park
  • Night at the Homestay

Day 03: Tangkoko Nature reserve

  • Full day of birding in the park
  • Night at the Homestay

Day 04: Tangkoko NR – Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park

  • After breakfast down to Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park
  • Birding along the way
  • Check in at the homestay in Toraut
  • Afternoon birding around the park

Day 05: Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park

  • Arise early morning, birding around Tambun to see Maleo and its nesting ground
  • Afternoon birding at Tapakolintang and Toraut
  • Return to the Homestay for overnight

Day 06: Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park – Kotamobagu

  • Still birding at Tambun for second chance if missed the Maleo on Day 5
  • After lunch driving slowly down to Kotamobagu town
  • Check in at Patra Jasa hotel
  • Afternoon birding around Gunung Ambang, starting point in Singsingon village for seeing Cinnabar Boobook, a new species that identified by calls in 1999 and recorded in 2002
  • Return to the hotel for overnight

Day 07: Kotamobagu – Bogani Nani Wartabone NP – Minahasa Highland

  • Arise early morning, drive to Singsingon birding again at Gunung Ambang for second chance to see Cinnabar Boobook, Scaly-breasted Kingfisher, Matinan Flycatcher, Sulawesi Drongo. All these species of birds are rare and endemic to Sulawesi
  • After lunch drive away back to Manado, onwards to Minahasa highland
  • Check in and overnight at Onong’s palace in Tomohon

Day 08: Tomohon – Bunaken National Marine Park

  • Arise early morning, drive to Mt Mahawu where you should see Rufous-throated Flycatcher, Blue-fronted Flycatcher, Citrine Canary Flycatcher, Scarlet Honey-eater, Blue-faced parrot-finch, Pygmy Woodpecker and Mountain Tailorbird
  • Keep driving down to Manado, onwards via a speedboat to Bunaken National Marine Park
  • Check in at the cottage on Bunaken Island
  • Afternoon birding around the Island
  • Snorkeling or scuba diving as your optional interests
  • Return to the accommodation for overnight

Day 09: Bunaken National Marine Park

  • Today is relaxing day on the beach
  • Snorkeling or scuba diving
  • Late evening return to Manado
  • Check in and overnight at Gran Central Hotel
  • Shopping, emailing, phone calls, etc

Day 10: Manado – Airport

  • Transfer to the airport for your next destination
  • End of our services
